The WRITEcise Daily ScoreCARD

The ScoreCARD is the nucleus of the WRITEcise Scoreβook – the power center.  It can be a formidable behavioral tool against OO. Without the daily records captured by this form, you are unable to review specific behaviors and eating events. Therefore, corrective actions and the causes of your OO are vague at best. Regular monitoring of your weight is the key to keeping it off.

The WRITEcise Calendar serves as a month in a glance snapshot of your progress. The calendar provides a different view of your monthly progress.

The ScoreBOARD is a summary report and a core analysis tool. It serves as a summary of your daily efforts. It reveals weaknesses, as well as areas of strengths.  

The ScoreTABLE captures your starting measures for the month. These initial measures serve as baseline monthly targets. At the end of the month, it will reflect progress during the month.

A grade is a standard. Standards are the measures that maintain the quality of our lives. Most of us were raised to respect standards. Without clearly defined daily behavioral standards, most of us will not live progressively. One of the main reasons for destructive health behaviors is negligent personal health standards. Daily exercise is a lifestyle standard of weight management. Grade books allow us to compare our current behavior against previous behaviors and then evaluate them. The WF/BGS documents the quality of your food choices. It is meant to subjectively qualify the foods you enjoy eating.

 

Generally, weight control programs experience high dropout rates because people cannot eat foods they enjoy. Even though you may start out eating low quality foods, the WRITEcise Scoreβook will reveal just how unhealthy many of these foods are and how they aggravate your attempts to L.A.K.I.O. It will also help you to understand and correlate your weight gains and losses with the quality of the foods you consume on a daily basis. Delicious does not always correlate with nutritious; but nutritious correlates with health and well-being. What will happen if you know that the foods you ate yesterday added three pounds to your weight today? What would you do? If you decided to consume an additional 5000 calories over your daily caloric needs, you should seriously be wondering why? Why did you let that happen? Did you attend a buffet, were you depressed, stressed, very happy? Record your theories in the Daily Journal.

 

Many diet programs require you to behave unnaturally. They require you to eat their foods, do their exercises, or behave in ways that are contrary to your nature. The WF/BGS takes into consideration what is natural to you.
